Wannes holds a PhD in mathematics and has a background as a professional volleyball athlete. This seemed to be the perfect preparation to lead larger data and machine learning teams in the Benelux. Wannes has been very active in sharing his experiences, amongst which the DPG Media data mesh story and has therefor recently been named a data mesh learning MVP.
