Beiersdorf AG is currently working to organize, centralize and store a fast-growing amount of business data. A set of infrastructure projects dedicated to digital transformation have been launched to enhance existing data and analytics architecture. Designing and implementing “One Data Platform” plays a central role for all activities. One part of this platforms is the Azure Data & Analytics Hub which is a highly scalable cloud data platform. This talk will explain the idea and core principles behind the Azure Data & Analytics Hub, the overall strategy for the “One Data Platform” and also give some insights into the technical details and decisions.
