The last decade witnessed the advent of software engineering best practices in the data & analytics industry. Despite this, many organizations still face challenges in expanding their data platforms globally while upholding quality standards and avoiding delays in delivering new data products and applications. Join us on our journey of deploying a modern data stack platform in the Pharma commercial domain at Roche. We will discuss how we utilized dbt core and dbt cloud to expand our analytics platform to over 30 countries. Additionally we will focus on how we built a global scale engineering practice around dbt cloud, and why combining both dbt solutions was key to accomplishing our long-term objectives.
